The BEST Network are pleased to announce that the following submissions have been successful in selection for the Partner Project scheme (in alphabetical order).  

  • Development of Virtual Anatomy Adaptive Tutorials (VAnATS) and Integrated Basic Science Adaptive Tutorials (IBSATs), from Nalini Pather, University of New South Wales, in collaboration with Gary Velan, University of New South Wales, Ken Ashwell, University of New South Wales, Vaughan Kippers, University of Queensland and Helen Anscomb, James Cook University.
  • Interactive case studies in medical microbiology and immunology, from Sandra Uren, University of Melbourne.
  • PCR Virtual Lab, from Dr Susan Rowland, University of Queensland and Dr Louise Lutze-Mann, University of New South Wales.
  • Regulation of plasma osmolality and volume in human subjects, from Dr Karen Gibson, University of New South Wales and Dr Richard Vickery, University of New South Wales.
  •  Survey Tools for Standardising Feedback Across Diverse Interactive Virtual Learning Spaces, from Dr Patsie Polly, University of New South Wales and Chris Christensen, James Cook University.
  • Thyroid gland physiology virtual laboratory, from Dr Trevor Lewis, University of New South Wales.
  • Upgrade of UNSW Virtual Microscopy Adaptive Tutorials (VMATs), from A/Prof. Gary Velan, University of New South Wales.
  • Veterinary Anaesthesia Clinical Case Scenarios, from Dr Maria Bellei, James Cook University, Chris Christensen, James Cook University,  Dr Jo Rainger, University of Queensland.

The NBN BEST Network has created an exciting opportunity for our partner universities to lead a number of Partner Projects. Academics and other relevant staff selected to lead Partner Projects will receive a range of support and resources to develop state-of-the-art eLearning resources on the BEST Network platform. The BEST Network is currently calling for Expressions of Interest and will accept submissions from the 8th March 2013 on the Partner Project Forum.
